The popular star of Steven Bochco's acclaimed series Hill Street Blues,
television's "Renko" is as well known today for his work behind the camera as
for the role that earned him two Emmy-nominations. Most recently, Haid directed
the critically acclaimed pilot episode of the television series Murder One. His
other credits include the feature Iron Will; TNT's Cooperstown, winner of the
coveted Humanitas Prize; telefilm The Nightman and episodes of Doogie Howser,
M.D.; Cop Rock; and The Antaganosts. Haid starred in such films as Altered
States, Who'll Stop the Rain, The Choirboys and Nightbreed. His television
acting credits include more than 25 films, numerous guest roles and the series
Kate McShane and Delvecchio.
Partnered with his father Norman in Rosemont Productions International, Ltd., David Rosemont has produced numerous telefilms, including TNT's Ironclads; The Haunting of Helen Walker; The West Side Waltz; Harmful Intent; and Fergie & Andrew: Behind the Palace Doors. The Rosemont company is the prolific producer of more than 45 television specials and mini-series, including ten Hallmark Hall of Fame specials. David Rosemont is currently producing Mark Twain's A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court and a sequel to the Emmy Award-winning children's classic The Secret Garden.
